LibreOffice on Linux Mint 9 & 10

This community.linuxmint.com describes how to remove OpenOffice 3.2 and install LibreOffice 3.3 on Linux Mint 9 and 10. My guess is that it would work well with Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10, but I’ve not tried it myself.

  1. This seems to mess up spell checking. The following fixed spell checking for me:

    aptitude install language-support-writing-en aspell libreoffice-gtk

and then accept the other packages it want to install as well.
